Meet Martha
Hi! I’m Martha Boiardt, a certified speech-language pathologist and the owner of Miami Speech Therapy, LLC. As the founder and owner of Miami Speech Therapy, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, concierge, in-home and in-school therapy services to the pediatric population of Miami-Dade county. With over 14 years of experience in the field, I specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida International University in 2010 and founded Miami Speech Therapy in 2014, after determining how I wanted to better tailor my therapy sessions to serve my clients more efficiently. I accept a limited number of clients to provide the best possible services with the most individualized attention. My services can include speech, language, feeding, and oral motor evaluations and therapy, free 15-minute consultations for the birth to 3 population, and parent coaching.
Beyond my professional expertise, I believe that ongoing education and staying current with the latest advancements is essential for the practice of speech-language pathology. I am passionate about supporting Autistic children and their language development, AAC, speech sound disorders, feeding difficulties (dysphagia and picky eaters), early intervention, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and empowering parents to be their children’s Team Captains! This commitment ensures that I provide the most holistic, effective, and innovative treatments available.
When I’m not with my clients, I enjoy reading, crafting, spending time with my husband and our 3 children, and volunteering at their school. These activities enrich my life and inspire my work, reminding me of the importance of meaningful communication in all aspects of life.
Thank you for considering Miami Speech Therapy, LLC. I look forward to working with your child to achieve their communication goals.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, with a special focus on the family as a unit with neurodiversity affirmation. Whether working with the early intervention (birth to 3) population, supporting an autistic individual’s communication, treating an orofacial myofunctional disorder, or remediating feeding or speech sound disorders, I am committed to making a positive impact on my clients' lives.
